Personal protective equipment
Personal protective equipment are products to wear or hold that protect people against risks related to their safety and health. This applies to risks at work, at home, or during leisure activities. In the European Union, the Regulation of Personal Protective Equipment EU 2016/425 covers such products.
Some examples of personal protective equipment are FFP respirators (FFP ”covid” masks), hearing protections, face shields, helmets, gloves, and many more. Especially, the scope of the PPE Regulation is the protection of the person wearing the equipment.
In this Library of Documents, we collect guidance documents, public opinions, regulatory updates, standards, and many other documents, which guide in you in the compliance process of protective equipment.
